Thank you for the update. Rez sick is one of those things that picks me up during the week and i appreciate your effort.
But dont forget, you cannot “replace” mark, because there will never be someone like him in terms of his sense of humor and his apparent WoW addiction. But i do hope that you can find an “alternative” that makes us all just as happy.
I’m still mad at mark for leaving, i have a right to yell at him all i want because i am his sister. *plots and rubs hands together with malice* Good luck finding an alternative for mark because this website is awesome and i will stick with it until the very end.
Glad you haven’t abandoned the comic, but i’m also glad you put this up..
Something seems to have been missing recently, but i’m sure you’ll find whatever it is, be it Mark, a new artist, an epiphany, or anything of the sort.
Good luck on finding a replacement for Mark, but as Swordy said, he is irreplaceable in terms of humor. I can only draw stick figures with pants, so I’m useless in that department.
Oh, and I don’t think any of us are going anywhere. I still came back when the site was down for a few days.
I wish you luck in your journey and dearly hope you will return to us soon. I need my routine infusion of rez sick . I myself would help but i too cannot draw, (mostly because i dont have the full version of flash)
why oh why must this comic’s following be so art challenged!
IF i was older and if i had more experience with my art then id totally help but im not even outa highschool yet (very close) and my skillsas an artist are very good but the art always comes at random times and i rarely finish them or i throw them awy becasue i dont belive my art is as good as it could be. another thing is YOU ARE AN ARTIST! the way you tell a funny entertaining and ongoing story with the type of drawing you display is definately an art dont cut yourself short man! and we all have a poetic side of us soemtimes its kinda strange sometimes its spontanious and intelligent and sometimes it leaves someone thinking just as you have done to me many times before, so keep it going man you’ll do great. were all rootin for you.
though im not sure about the ratio of effort/time per comic between you and mark for producing the comics but i could never really tell the difference between your strips and his. but if you feel you need an artist then by all means take all the time you need as i said above.
I have to agree with Belz in that the quality never seemed to suffer with the transition. My guess is that the amount of time you need to draft each comic is hurting other projects you also work on?
Either way, I’ve always loved this site and visit it like clockwork - looking forward to where you’ll be taking it and encourage you to not give up!
i wish we could edit our previous comments, as i didnt intentionaly copy Myth in his “this comic is worth waiting for” (very sory about that).
Also i was thinking it would be really cool if you could post your progress on the site Christian. Such as possibly giving us updates from time to time on the search for a new artist. Perhapse we could even help out when it comes to chosing one in some way? (if you would like the help of course)
i wish u good luck in finding an artist worthy of making these comics. i would offer my help except that i dont really know how to make things on the comp. (art and such). Im a pretty okay artist though, when it comes to really detailed stuff, but i dont get much time to work on my art because im in the middle of middle school and gots crapload of work all the time. I’m sure that Christian would be (pleasantly) surprised at the number of people that are still checking this site, even though he hasn’t been able to update the comic for lack of art.

ok myth,in case u werent reading,i gots a new pc so no more Wii internet browsing fo me,secondly i know it can but i couldnt find a keyboard that would work….ok its 10′…lets face it,rez sick is doomed without mark…i recommend sating our hunger by at least selling rez sick/incompletes merchandice…i would like to cuddle a cartoon mark plush or a willow plush…or beat up a willow inflatable punchingbag….or sell written willow comics…but ud have ta bunch alot of willow comics (new ones) into one comic book to get people to buy,lastly…rez sick is doomed without mark being involved in some shape or form…it was a thing you guys would both work together on and have fun with,the quality sacrificed when you only make the comics because youy feel obligated to make them for an increasing audience of WoWnerds..in summation,no mark,no fun,no rez sick
Grats on PC adrian, I could easily do the comics if my program would work and Christian would send me previous ones to photoshop out willow and chars. But that would mean I cant make new models. But I still have hope for rez sick. -RIP- (wii? that must rly suck, i didnt know wii had internet)

hey dalvi,actualy its easy to get the comics without needing C to email em to ya,just right click ont he desired comic and press “save background as…” which will allow you to copy it to your “my pictures” folder….
also its turning into a chat lobby and will fulfill the purpose of sharing our desire for rezsick,untill C and mark reunite to make rez sick or sell merchandice,lastly,make shure you get rez sick copywrighted so nobody steals it
I’ve been wanting to say this for quite sometime, but never felt a stronger urge to do so until now.
MARK, IS, REPLACEABLE.
Simple as that. Marks skills were good, and funny, and nice. But he’s not the best out there, not the worst, but not the best.
The comic will be fine without him, the only thing that’s really endangering this comic is you guys. I don’t speak for Christian but constantly saying “this comic is dead without mark” or “you can’t replace mark” seems like it would make it harder to even want to find a new artist, no matter how many smileys or faces or winks you put at the other end of it.
Christian, can you please at least provide us with some updates as to how your search for another artist is going or whats going on? i really cant wait for rez sick to start appearing again.
please please can we have some progress reports from you christian? I’m sure as well as i know many other people are that you are infact still looking for another artist, but it is easy to lose hope when we go for so long without even hearing a whisper from you regarding your progress.
Also if you have, or one day do give up (which im sure all of us feverently hope doesnt happen for a very very long time) could you give us a cap up of the storyline? even if it is in point form text or something it would be terrible to think we will eventualy not find out what happens to some of our favourite comic characters in the end.

Why not have a storyline submission competition. you (Christian) can already create the comics, so why not give the hard part to the fans and every week make a comic out of the best idea submitted? Im sure adrian still has lots of good ideas for willow deaths left in him.
I’m sad to see Christian seems to have little luck finding a replacement for Mark. But Mark IS a difficult man to replace, and I’m proud of Christian for trying. Best of luck to them! I will always check back for the next comic, as this is one of the most creative and enjoyable sites I’ve happened across.
i do agree with swordy we fans have all good ideas on how to kill willow and andvance the story line … and kill willow… i mean it is a really great idea if we can come up with the rest of the story line (and the death of willow) then this comic could continue yay or like everybody keeps saying keep us postet on oyur progress we really miss or rez sick soo im kinda still in a bad mood *sigh* thus i wanna say … AT LEAST MAKE A STRIP WITH WILLOW DIEING ALOT I MISS SEEING WILLOW NOT DIE!!!!!!! *cries* im sad.. or plz do something

And even if it is canceled, you can’t blame him, all you can do is commemorate him for trying, he came far, it was hilarious and awesome, but all good things must come to an end, so be prepared for a farewell, I sure am..
CTZombie is right, that and dont forget that all of our comments are moderated, which means hes either still paying a moderator (hard to forget about something when your paying for it), or hes still regularily checking up on the site to do the moderating himself. He hasnt fogotten us, hes just been silent for a while, no need to think the sky is falling.
Exactly, Belz, and CTZ have it right. Artists are things hard to come by, artists willing to work for free are harder. Perhaps if you wish for our dear Christian to come back, a donation to our mutual comedian and story-teller may be due, I mean think about it, if he checks his bank or email or whatever it is that alerts him of incoming funds via Visa, and he see’s it’s come from one of us, all that’s going to say is “We haven’t forgotten you.” Which in any case, is a rather invigorating sight.

Even if this comic is dead (I’m not saying it is or anything) Why not stay here? And by stay here I mean keep visiting for it’s use as a forum, we can use it to discuss whatever, personal, gaming, electronic, whatever. Just something that A: We can remember Christian and Mark by and B: We can all stick together, we get along fairly well, at least I’d say so and I don’t see any reason not to.
And hey, maybe one day when Christians in his thirties, he’ll see comments out the wazoo and he’ll go back to the first page and read.

Things will happen when they happen. I have to take Christian at his word, that he’s working on getting things going again. In the mean-time, I check in here and see where things stand every day or so.

We have wireless controllers with rechargeable-unlosable batteries that last hours on a 15 minute charge, free unlimited online playing and web-browsing, we can attach USB to the PS3 for mice, keyboards, USB data carrier things, and basically anything else. We can upload photos, and videos of any kind, a Blu-Ray player that doesn’t need to charge, AND better exclusives. Sure Microsoft is rich enough to use foul-play. But we get Uncharted that has better gameplay, story, weapons, and online then HALO will ever have. Not to mention our online community is better. And then a million more stuff that I can’t think of right now.
But hey, you win at controller design. That’s true.
lol though I am myself an xbox/pc gamer (the ps3 was too expensive for my blood) I dont see the PS3 failing any time soon. Its fanbase may be smaller than that of some other consoles but they are extremely loyal.
Oh and Alexander I do believe he is from America. Though i could be wrong and I hope someone will correct me if I am.

splintercell is….AWSUM!!! it only is lacking in the fact that unlike last game there is no generated noise n visiblity meter…no more moving bodies,and also unlike double agent,it takes extra skill to avoid having to go loud…also u can choose whatever gun u want,u can attach upgrades to em to increase accuracy,stopping power,ammo count,and the amount of marks u get per execute,also the online multiplayer has changed alot making it a 2 player co-op kinda thing,but its sweet
(part 2 of mah paragraph) the co-op story mode is diff from single player as it isnt same storyline,co-op story has 2 guys,archer from third echelon(american),and kestrel from forearm (russian) atm has 4 missions but something bout ubi about adding more missions,online multiplayer has also a bunch of other 2 player games,teamwork is vary important on the multiplayer,also for buying a copy u get a beta invite to gohst recon:future soldier,would take forever to explain singe player game story
last thing,since it just went up,for some reason euro server for online is up so US players are funneled twards euro players but dont worry most of em speak english….also one more feature in this game…u use “enhanced” interrogation to “extract” info outa ppl

Although Goblins is for audiences who are fans of Dungeons and Dragons, I don’t know the affect on those who don’t play it but it has a lot of jokes related to such, more so then the Order of the Stick.

Christian come back! We didnt mind your drawing and we miss watching Willow die, and we want to know what happens to Gravity, and Willows friends, and whether or not Mini is really dead!!!!
I think you guys are missing the point, I might be as well, but take this into consideration: The only reason I have not started a webcomic yet is because I do not like to, and cannot, draw. How is this relevant? Well, Christians artwork is far superior to many people I know, including mine. But there are various reasons to do with HIS artwork, such as, does he enjoy drawing? Does he feel that his artwork is conveying what he wants to for the story or humor of the comic?
Webcomics are born because the artists and writers (which are the same thing in my opinion) love to do what they do, Mark loved to draw for this comic, but due to personal reasons something happened it’s whatever. Christian loves to write the story, but maybe not drawing. I realize that you guys understand and we’re merely making a joke but it’s incredible how few people realize this.
you have a good point Doc, I was also thinking that his comment regarding to the story suffering could refer to his inability to draw certain scenes, and thus having to alter the story.

Well in any sense, we all had a good run here, I’m not ready to bite the bullet quite yet, but I’m preparing for the worst, maybe he’ll do something similar to Chainmail-Bikini and just write out what happens, but either way I think Christian will find a way to finish, I’d place bets on it.

This whole thing, this forum like..thing, where we all can just escape our problems from the world and talk about whatever, laugh, and enjoy the company of the internet, we can put old things to rest and bring things anew, it’s one of those little things that make peoples lives better, like an ice-cream store, or a coffee shop. I’m serious! Those people working there make peoples lives better, even if it’s just a small little bit. I think I should explain Boulders comment a bit.
Boulder and I go back pretty far, we’ve been friends since the dawn of our lives.
He’s been going through a hard time, recently, just the weight of the world can come down sore on someones shoulders for a little while, y’know?
Anyway, I can vouch for Boulder here too, you guys are great, even if the comic goes down and the site wanes away, you guys will still be in my memory, it might be in there deep at some times, but you’ll resurface eventually.
Also, Boulders not an emotional guy, I don’t think he’s ever even done anything like this before, so clearly you impressed him somehow. So please don’t think of him as weird or sappy or anything, it’s just some crap hit the fan is all, so thanks guys. You know, for clearly making a difference.

For those of you that do hang around for a bit longer, there’s a surprise coming. About a year ago I commented that I would never let this comic die, and it wont. It’s just on a really, really REALLY long break.

I was just wondering, have you looked for a comic artist on any of the popular art websites? you might find one willing to draw for you as a side job. For someone who has art as a hobby, making a little cash on the side would probably be welcome.

#1. fallout: new vegas is a enhanced form of fallout 3, and not so butchered lore-wise. i liked it, some others liked it, some other.. others?.. didnt like it.

Thank you for the update. Rez sick is one of those things that picks me up during the week and i appreciate your effort.
But dont forget, you cannot “replace” mark, because there will never be someone like him in terms of his sense of humor and his apparent WoW addiction. But i do hope that you can find an “alternative” that makes us all just as happy.

Good luck on finding a replacement for Mark, but as Swordy said, he is irreplaceable in terms of humor. I can only draw stick figures with pants, so I’m useless in that department.

IF i was older and if i had more experience with my art then id totally help but im not even outa highschool yet (very close) and my skillsas an artist are very good but the art always comes at random times and i rarely finish them or i throw them awy becasue i dont belive my art is as good as it could be. another thing is YOU ARE AN ARTIST! the way you tell a funny entertaining and ongoing story with the type of drawing you display is definately an art dont cut yourself short man! and we all have a poetic side of us soemtimes its kinda strange sometimes its spontanious and intelligent and sometimes it leaves someone thinking just as you have done to me many times before, so keep it going man you’ll do great. were all rootin for you.

though im not sure about the ratio of effort/time per comic between you and mark for producing the comics but i could never really tell the difference between your strips and his. but if you feel you need an artist then by all means take all the time you need as i said above.

I have to agree with Belz in that the quality never seemed to suffer with the transition. My guess is that the amount of time you need to draft each comic is hurting other projects you also work on?
Either way, I’ve always loved this site and visit it like clockwork - looking forward to where you’ll be taking it and encourage you to not give up!

Also i was thinking it would be really cool if you could post your progress on the site Christian. Such as possibly giving us updates from time to time on the search for a new artist. Perhapse we could even help out when it comes to chosing one in some way? (if you would like the help of course)

i wish u good luck in finding an artist worthy of making these comics. i would offer my help except that i dont really know how to make things on the comp. (art and such). Im a pretty okay artist though, when it comes to really detailed stuff, but i dont get much time to work on my art because im in the middle of middle school and gots crapload of work all the time. ok myth,in case u werent reading,i gots a new pc so no more Wii internet browsing fo me,secondly i know it can but i couldnt find a keyboard that would work….ok its 10′…lets face it,rez sick is doomed without mark…i recommend sating our hunger by at least selling rez sick/incompletes merchandice…i would like to cuddle a cartoon mark plush or a willow plush…or beat up a willow inflatable punchingbag….or sell written willow comics…but ud have ta bunch alot of willow comics (new ones) into one comic book to get people to buy,lastly…rez sick is doomed without mark being involved in some shape or form…it was a thing you guys would both work together on and have fun with,the quality sacrificed when you only make the comics because youy feel obligated to make them for an increasing audience of WoWnerds..in summation,no mark,no fun,no rez sick

The Wii has Wi-Fi capability, for a bunch of reasons– updates, online game-play, “channels”, Nintendo Store… You get the idea.

I’ve been wanting to say this for quite sometime, but never felt a stronger urge to do so until now.
MARK, IS, REPLACEABLE.
Simple as that. Marks skills were good, and funny, and nice. But he’s not the best out there, not the worst, but not the best.
The comic will be fine without him, the only thing that’s really endangering this comic is you guys. I don’t speak for Christian but constantly saying “this comic is dead without mark” or “you can’t replace mark” seems like it would make it harder to even want to find a new artist, no matter how many smileys or faces or winks you put at the other end of it.

please please can we have some progress reports from you christian? I’m sure as well as i know many other people are that you are infact still looking for another artist, but it is easy to lose hope when we go for so long without even hearing a whisper from you regarding your progress.
Also if you have, or one day do give up (which im sure all of us feverently hope doesnt happen for a very very long time) could you give us a cap up of the storyline? even if it is in point form text or something it would be terrible to think we will eventualy not find out what happens to some of our favourite comic characters in the end.

Why not have a storyline submission competition. you (Christian) can already create the comics, so why not give the hard part to the fans and every week make a comic out of the best idea submitted? Im sure adrian still has lots of good ideas for willow deaths left in him.

I’m sad to see Christian seems to have little luck finding a replacement for Mark. But Mark IS a difficult man to replace, and I’m proud of Christian for trying. Best of luck to them! Exactly, Belz, and CTZ have it right. Artists are things hard to come by, artists willing to work for free are harder. Perhaps if you wish for our dear Christian to come back, a donation to our mutual comedian and story-teller may be due, I mean think about it, if he checks his bank or email or whatever it is that alerts him of incoming funds via Visa, and he see’s it’s come from one of us, all that’s going to say is “We haven’t forgotten you.” Which in any case, is a rather invigorating sight.

I has an idea. It’s not really the best one but what the heck?
Even if this comic is dead (I’m not saying it is or anything) Why not stay here? And by stay here I mean keep visiting for it’s use as a forum, we can use it to discuss whatever, personal, gaming, electronic, whatever. Just something that A: We can remember Christian and Mark by and B: We can all stick together, we get along fairly well, at least I’d say so and I don’t see any reason not to.
And hey, maybe one day when Christians in his thirties, he’ll see comments out the wazoo and he’ll go back to the first page and read.

Hi, I love WoW. And now I don’t have any Game-cards, so I am just clicking around on internet. I have sitting here at the hole day and looking at your Work, Christian. I’m very impressing. Seriously though. We have wireless controllers with rechargeable-unlosable batteries that last hours on a 15 minute charge, free unlimited online playing and web-browsing, we can attach USB to the PS3 for mice, keyboards, USB data carrier things, and basically anything else. We can upload photos, and videos of any kind, a Blu-Ray player that doesn’t need to charge, AND better exclusives. Sure Microsoft is rich enough to use foul-play. But we get Uncharted that has better gameplay, story, weapons, and online then HALO will ever have. Not to mention our online community is better. And then a million more stuff that I can’t think of right now.
But hey, you win at controller design. That’s true.

lol though I am myself an xbox/pc gamer (the ps3 was too expensive for my blood) I dont see the PS3 failing any time soon. Its fanbase may be smaller than that of some other consoles but they are extremely loyal.
Oh and Alexander I do believe he is from America. Though i could be wrong and I hope someone will correct me if I am.

splintercell is….AWSUM!!! it only is lacking in the fact that unlike last game there is no generated noise n visiblity meter…no more moving bodies,and also unlike double agent,it takes extra skill to avoid having to go loud…also u can choose whatever gun u want,u can attach upgrades to em to increase accuracy,stopping power,ammo count,and the amount of marks u get per execute,also the online multiplayer has changed alot making it a 2 player co-op kinda thing,but its sweet

(part 2 of mah paragraph) the co-op story mode is diff from single player as it isnt same storyline,co-op story has 2 guys,archer from third echelon(american),and kestrel from forearm (russian) atm has 4 missions but something bout ubi about adding more missions,online multiplayer has also a bunch of other 2 player games,teamwork is vary important on the multiplayer,also for buying a copy u get a beta invite to gohst recon:future soldier,would take forever to explain singe player game story

lol though i would reather not get involved in this my console is better than your console argument seeing as I think their both good I do need to say a few things:

You are aware your not really jury rigging or hacking anything. The Youtube down-loader thing is supposed to be free.
And yeah they are good ones, me and Boulder go way back, but comic and game tastes have been unchanged from the beginning.
Although Goblins is for audiences who are fans of Dungeons and Dragons, I don’t know the affect on those who don’t play it but it has a lot of jokes related to such, more so then the Order of the Stick.
P.S. Adrian, you don’t need to tell us when your being annoying.. we already know.

I think you guys are missing the point, I might be as well, but take this into consideration: The only reason I have not started a webcomic yet is because I do not like to, and cannot, draw. How is this relevant? Well, Christians artwork is far superior to many people I know, including mine. But there are various reasons to do with HIS artwork, such as, does he enjoy drawing? Does he feel that his artwork is conveying what he wants to for the story or humor of the comic?
Webcomics are born because the artists and writers (which are the same thing in my opinion) love to do what they do, Mark loved to draw for this comic, but due to personal reasons something happened it’s whatever. Christian loves to write the story, but maybe not drawing. I realize that you guys understand and we’re merely making a joke but it’s incredible how few people realize this.

Well in any sense, we all had a good run here, I’m not ready to bite the bullet quite yet, but I’m preparing for the worst, maybe he’ll do something similar to Chainmail-Bikini and just write out what happens, but either way I think Christian will find a way to finish, I’d place bets on it.

This whole thing, this forum like..thing, where we all can just escape our problems from the world and talk about whatever, laugh, and enjoy the company of the internet, we can put old things to rest and bring things anew, it’s one of those little things that make peoples lives better, like an ice-cream store, or a coffee shop. I’m serious! Those people working there make peoples lives better, even if it’s just a small little bit. I think I should explain Boulders comment a bit.
Boulder and I go back pretty far, we’ve been friends since the dawn of our lives.
He’s been going through a hard time, recently, just the weight of the world can come down sore on someones shoulders for a little while, y’know?
Anyway, I can vouch for Boulder here too, you guys are great, even if the comic goes down and the site wanes away, you guys will still be in my memory, it might be in there deep at some times, but you’ll resurface eventually.
Also, Boulders not an emotional guy, I don’t think he’s ever even done anything like this before, so clearly you impressed him somehow. So please don’t think of him as weird or sappy or anything, it’s just some crap hit the fan is all, so thanks guys. You know, for clearly making a difference.

and were past halo reach and almost twards fallout new vegas and assasin’s creed brotherhood….the month of september kinda flew by when i got ahold of MY LIMITED EDITION OF HALO REACH YEAH!

Well, I think this is my last comment.
Many of you have left and stopped reading the large comment base that has developed over nearly a year. I’ve read through the comics and these comments for the last time, and I have laughed all over again. So goodbye to you all, I hope you live long prosperous lives that bring you everything you hope for, godspeed.
P.S. Christian, if you ever do read through these or something, know that I am proud to say I read this comic and was a part of it. Willow may finally die his last death, but we’ll remember him most of always.

#1. fallout: new vegas is a enhanced form of fallout 3, and not so butchered lore-wise. i liked it, some others liked it, some other.. others?.. didnt like it.
