Running from Rejection
Wow guys and gals, I am sorry but it looks like this is going to take longer than a day to fix. Hopefully everything will be up and running tomorrow. The old site was something we threw together in flash and I think everyone was sick of watching the comics cycle through as the site loaded. We are going with Comicpress because it looks like longterm we will be able to throw stuff up in a more organized fashion and you will have an easier time of getting the content. My level is just a little too low at the moment and I need some time to level my webhosting in order to run the instance properly. We have some new comics I really want to post and I am excited about being able to leave comments. Christian will probably just tell me to stick to art but considering the fact that he is running around Japan getting fat on sushi I am feeling a little daring at the moment. We will get the rest of the comics loaded including Rez Sick but I don’t know how feasible the video portion will be. Anyways just wanted to apologize to everyone who was nice enough to come check out our site today as well as let you know that we are working on it.

If there’s one thing Mark and I are good at it’s shirking our responsibilities. It’s a wonder to me that this comic exists, that Mark actually sat down and drew the thing and that I am following through by writing this post. I mean this is something neither of us has to do . . . and therein lies the beauty of it.
Mark and I met at the bottom of the barrel and we recognized that spark in each other’s eye. The “I have something better to do right now” look, that can only be found amongst the most distracted. Of course, my and Mark’s distractions come in very different forms. He immerses himself in worlds where everything has a firefly glow, and I . . . well, I leap across the Pacific ocean. I can assure you dereliction is the only thing he and I have in common. Well, that and the fact that we both like comic books. You know, the shirker’s bible.
So here we are, me a bachelor in Japan, Mark married with a steady job in Utah, living two very separate lives and writing a comic about it.
We hope you’ll tune in.
-Christian
P.S. If the site stops updating, I assure you it’s only because the work started to feel like a job and we decided to do something easier.
